Welcome Wildcats!

Dear Wakefield Elementary scholars & families,

I would like to welcome all of you back to the 2023–2024 school year.  I am excited for the new academic year and look forward to working with Wakefield families again in my new role as interim principal.

As always, our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for all scholars. Wakefield staff are committed to building positive relationships with scholars and supporting their academic and social-emotional learning.  In addition, we are confident that our new school branding of “Leader in Me” will empower and motivate scholars to take on leadership roles at school and in the community.

At Wakefield Elementary, we focus on maintaining positive communication with the entire school community and encourage families to seek opportunities to get involved in their child’s education and activities at the school.

Please stay connected with Wakefield Elementary and TUSD through our social media platforms and websites for updated information.  Please take a moment to update your contact information on Aeries Family Link to ensure you receive school information.  We also recommend that you take some time to read and review the Student Handbook with your child. The handbook is designed to serve as a guide concerning the policies and regulations safe and effective learning environment.
